Personally, what highlights this drama the most are the production quality, the acting and chemistry between the 2 leads, Chen Kun and Ni Ni While the beginning seems slow, the middle part is intense and addictive.

Watchable though. Princess of Lanling King is the least palace drama-like in this list.
